Course Description

Total number of contact hours: 40 HRS/ 5 weeks

 

Academic writing is an important skill for university students. It enables them to communicate their ideas effectively in a clear and concise manner. Academic Writing for University Students is a three-level course designed to provide students with the skills and strategies that enable them to excel in writing.  Additionally, this course provides opportunities for students to explore and practice academic writing where they will be taught how to write and edit various kinds of paragraphs, short essays, and essays. Furthermore, teachers will monitor the progress and each individual student and provide them with constructive and immediate feedback.

The three-level structure of the course ensures that students will thoroughly understand the principles of academic writing and gradually proceed from basic concepts to more advanced techniques where each level concentrates on certain features of academic writing
